  • Conductor: Annealed copper, single solid or stranded, plain or tinned.
  • Insulation : Polyethylene compound, solid or foam.
  • Screen : Plain or tinned copper wire braid.
  • Sheath : Special PVC compound.

Application  

These cables are suitable for outdoor installation. Their performance is primarily intended for voice-frequency circuits. For example, they can be used as primary and secondary cables in local telephone networks, telecommunications systems, railways, and industrial units.

 

Structure  

  • Conductor: Annealed solid copper.
  • Insulation: High-density polyethylene compound in accordance with ASTM D1248.
  • Pair twisting: The insulated conductors are twisted into pairs with standard color coding. The pairs are then concentrically stranded together.
  • Cable core covering: Polyester tape applied longitudinally or helically with appropriate overlap over the twisted pairs.
  • Screen: Aluminum foil applied longitudinally or helically with proper overlap, along with a tinned copper drain wire placed between the polyester tape and the aluminum foil.
  • Sheath: High-density polyethylene compound in accordance with ASTM D1248. The sheath is typically black with UV resistance.

  • VDE 0816 or TCI (Telecommunication Company of Iran) specifications.

Application  

These wires are used for the distribution of telecommunication lines and for connection between telephone equipment, especially MDF.

 

Structure  

  • Conductor : Tinned annealed solid copper.
  • Insulation : High quality PVC compound. Insulation colors for pairs are white and black and for triples are white, black and green.
  • Stranding method : The wires are twisted together in pairs or triples with a twist length of 30 mm.
 

Standard  

  • VDE 0815 or TCI specifications (Telecommunication Company of Iran).
