CC : These cables are suitable for the distribution of electrical energy in low and medium voltage lines from 1 to 33 kV.
ACSR : These cables are suitable for the distribution of electrical energy in medium and high voltage lines where the distance between poles is long.
Structure
Conductor: Alloy aluminum (AAAC) or hard-drawn aluminum stranded around central steel wires (ACSR).
Insulation: Black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) compound with a thickness of 3 mm for all CC sizes, 5.5 mm for all CCT 20 kV sizes, and 8 mm for all CCT 33 kV sizes.
Outer sheath: Black cross-linked polyethylene (HDPE) compound containing 2.5 to 3% carbon black to increase UV resistance, with a thickness of 0.8 mm for all CCT sizes.
